Zachary Prior '22 Recruiting Profile

I am passionate about the game of volleyball; I simply love to play. I have a great knowledge of the game because I’ve played club volleyball for 4 years and A Level adult league for 2 years. I also managed a volleyball team for 2 years and that has given me a lot of practice scouting and exploiting an opposing team’s weaknesses and adjusting our own defense against their strengths. It especially helped me to read a defense while I’m on the court so that I can hit to an open zone or tip line because the setter is too far back. I bring enthusiasm to every practice and take them seriously. In previous years my coach has subbed me into a game simply because the team was discouraged and I can bring a team up by being there and encouraging my teammates.
