Personal Statement
Coming into my last year in Highschool, and looking into my future in college, I've realized just how much I want to continue my life in sports, and specifically in Volleyball. It's been a large part of my life since middle school, as Covenant (my school) is a very volleyball oriented school sports wise. I've watched, practiced, and played for years, but due to the area I live in, I only recently got to join a genuine “male league” for volleyball, where I was both a starter and the team’s captain. And in my senior year alone, I have managed to lead my team to a very successful season. From this, it dawned on me how much I want to stay in this sport, both leading and being led, both working on myself and working with others, and experiencing college life through both education and athletics.
