Benjamin Rinker '24 Recruiting Profile

Outside of my walk with God, volleyball is my passion. Due to my geographic location in Southern West Virginia, I have had to primarily work independent of a coach and a traditional men's volleyball team. However, I am dedicated to the sport — training multiple times a week to improve my skills, working out additional times to improve my overall fitness, and playing with local teams as often as I can. 

I am naturally athletic and led my rec soccer team to several championships.

I get along well with people and would do my best to help the entire team succeed. I am a team leader, leading by example as well as working intentionally with teammates to improve their skills. 

I have maintained a high GPA during high school even while working a part-time job as a teacher's aide and taking dual-enrollment college classes.

My goal is to play volleyball at the highest level I can, whether it is collegiate or even professionally. I would welcome the chance to be guided along this path and would gladly accept criticism and seek instruction. 

If given the opportunity, I believe I could be an asset to a team both on and off the court.
