My name is Logan Neitzel and I am a 17 year old attending Arrowhead Union High School. I have a 3.4 GPA and am currently looking at a field of study in something dealing with athletics... possibly physical therapy (like my older sister) or recreational therapy. I come from a family of volleyball players. My Dad was the co-founder of the Men's Club Volleyball Team at UW-Oshkosh in 1992, and since then the program has become one of the largest and elite collegiate club programs in the nation. My Mom was on the UW-Oshkosh NCAA DIII Women's Volleyball Team that competed for the National Title while she was there. My Sister plays for Bryant & Stratton's NJCAA Women's Indoor Volleyball Team & the Women's Beach Volleyball Team. I have the same passion for the sport of volleyball and I always have fun playing. I hope that I can have the same opportunity & success in playing for a college team in my near future.
I have always been one of the tallest kids in my class, but over the last two years, I have grown from 6'0" tall to 6'10" tall, and I think I am still growing! I am very fortunate to play on one of the best teams in the Nation with a bunch of good guys. We are currently ranked 1st in the Nation on AES! I have also participated in the USA Volleyball NTDP Sessions! I have been invited to the Badger Region High Performance Training Sessions, and have made the North Country Region All-Star Team and will compete in the 2024 All-Star Championships this summer with the North Country Region. I do Athletic Performance one-on-one training with a Trainer twice a week along with my daily workouts to help with this. I am excited for the future and to see what level I can get to! I know that my height sets me apart from most recruits, but I hope my passion for the sport and kindness for others are what gets me noticed afterwards.
Thank you for taking the time to read my personal statement. I hope that you consider adding me to your Volleyball Program!
