Ryan Geraci '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches!

It's become a dream of mine to play in college but more importantly to find a school that can best set me up for my future. I understand that school comes first as a student-athlete and I am willing to do what it takes to balance both worlds. I plan to study and earn a degree in exercise science and a minor in business.  

I hope to play for a school with a successful program but I am just as happy to be a part of a program we can build to be a powerhouse! More importantly, I believe it's crucial that everyone gets along. I think team chemistry is a huge part of how a team performs and the game is just better when everyone is happy together. 

On the court, my teammates and coaches have always found me to be extremely energetic and happy. My coach nicknamed me Electro because when I get a kill or a block I start going crazy and look like I've been electrocuted. My club teammates started saying I have the energy of a puppy in the body of a great dane because there were many times where I would go crazy just jumping around, hugging them after a great win, or tackling them after a great play. That being said, I think I'm pretty happy to be on the court and always yelling something.

Off the court I think my life is pretty chill. I like to spend my free time with my friends, playing music, working or even with my bother playing more volleyball. My friends and I go around and just have fun as any teenagers would. We don't get in trouble but we certainly enjoy hanging out together! I can play a handful of instruments but guitar is my favorite. I even have a job at the same place I used to take lessons.
