Hello, My name is Brady Frost. I attend Neenah High School in Neenah, Wisconsin. I have been a very active and busy person throughout my life, so I will try to tell you a little about myself. I am currently playing Volleyball, Basketball, and Baseball at the High School along with many other activities outside of sports. I've been playing Basketball and Baseball since I was seven years old, and I love them now as much as I loved them those many years ago. I also played football from third to eighth grade; however, I found a new sport to love in the Fall. I picked up volleyball when I was in seventh grade, playing all four sports. Although I only started actual volleyball competition in seventh grade, I've been ingrained with the sport from a very young age. Both my siblings played all throughout high school, and even in college, and my father has been refereeing the sports my entire life. When high school came, I had to choose between volleyball or football for my fall sport. I took a leap, deciding to leave all of my football friends, by choosing to play volleyball. I started on the Neenah Boys Varsity Volleyball team when I was a Freshman, this huge accomplishment allowed me to play the game we both loved with my senior brother, which I will never forget. I continued to play club volleyball with Wisconsin Volleyball Academy freshman year and Fox Valley Performance sophomore year. I did this while also playing Basketball and Baseball at the same time. This was very challenging because I didn't want to lose Basketball and Baseball, but I knew if I put the work into volleyball, it could lead me to great places in life. I worked hard with all of my coaches to work through the conflicts, and even we had our ups and downs, I have made it through two years of club seasons. I hope to continue with my third year while still playing three varsities sports. Some weekends I drove down to Milwaukee and played in a club tournament Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. After the last game, I would rush back to Neenah for Basketball practice Sunday night. Along with loving to play and watch sports, I absolutely love music. I never do anything without music. I played trumpet from 5th-9th grade while singing in the choir, but now I just sing due to the amount of time the band takes up, my schedule just could not handle it. Now I am in the most advanced choir at Neenah High. I also am a leader in a group at my school named, S.A.L.T, which stands for, Student Athlete Leadership Team. I cannot get into everything we do for Neenah, but we really focus of teaching kids to become leaders, how to keep you and your body safe from many substances, etc... My family is the most important thing in my life. My cousin, who also lives in Neenah, has Down's Syndrome, he is my favorite person in the world. I could go on and on about him and our relationship. He really makes me a better person and makes me realize how lucky I am to have all of the opportunities I have in my life including this opportunity I have to continue my volleyball career in college. This is why I am a great candidate for teams. I am not a candidate or recruit where I complain about everything tough or painful a coach might throw at his players. I will always push through it with the mindset that the coach is doing it to better me and the team. If a coach tells me to do something, I will try my best to do it, and push myself until I get it done. Any position you tell me to play, I will play it and play it to the best of my ability.
Thanks,
Brady Frost
