I started playing water polo at 12 years old. As Captain of my high school varsity team, I believe my greatest asset is leadership. I feel that my teammates respect and are encouraged by my experience and passion for the game. In addition, what sets me apart from other players is my in-game awareness. Being able to anticipate the opponents' next move has enabled me to become a main goal scorer/playmaker for myself and my teammates.
Outside of the pool I have been able to accomplish many other goals.I have maintained a high GPA, while taking honors and AP classes. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to give back to the community as the assistant manager for the Stingrays program in my town. Stingrays is an organization that helps children with special needs learn how to swim and play water polo. I believe this experience has improved my ability to empathize, help others, and cultivate my leadership skills.
I am passionate about water polo and playing college water polo is goal of mine. I cannot picture my life after high school without a practice or a game! I believe I will be a huge asset to a college team. I am strong, dedicated, and want to win.
