As an accomplished student athlete with a 4.0 GPA (4.4 weighted), I hope to play water polo for an academically elite university where both my intellect and athletic ability will be challenged. Coaches have recognized my skills as both a player and leader, including the following recent successes: selected for ODP Pac Zone 2023, All League MVP - Field 2022, CCS 2nd Team 2022, being named LGHS team captain at age 15, and nominated to the LGHS Athletic Leadership Council (rare for a junior) by my swim team coaches. While dominantly left handed, I play ambidextrous, able to post up and turn using my right or left arm, making it more challenging to guard me on post ups. I am also a formidable perimeter player with a strong outside shot and my team’s top sprinter. This last fall, I helped lead my LGHS team to our first Open Division CIF-CCS tournament. With my club team, San Jose Express, I recently led my 16U team to the finals in the Kap7 Platinum Division, the best performance for a San Jose Express team to date. Given the opportunity, I know that I could contribute to an NCAA water polo program and look forward to discussing opportunities with NCAA coaches.
