I believe that my strongest asset is my ability to stay calm under pressure. I am the person on a team that everyone else can fall back onto and rely on when we are in a tough situation. I am a leader both in and out of the pool. I love the pressure of a shootout because I know that I have been given the chance to completely take the game in my hands and win it for my teammates. I also have a very high motor and work ethic. Every day, I am in the weight-room after school, and I try to be in the pool practicing twice a day. I love the grind, and it is something that I look forward to every day. I aspire to play collegiate-level water polo while also studying in the field of biology or sports medicine.
I am a dedicated student athlete who understands the level of commitment and hard work it takes to succeed in both academics and water polo. I have always challenged myself to take all honors and AP classes and have maintained a strong A average in all of my classes. I am prepared to meet the demands of both a high-level academic and athletic program. I look forward to studying biology or kinesiology at an academically rigorous university where I can pursue my passion for sports medicine.
