After high school, my main goal is to attend a college or university where I can play water polo as a goalie and major in biology or other medical sciences to become a Physician Assistant or another career in the medical field. In everything I do, whether in the pool or at school, I pride myself in competing to the best of my ability and leading my team to do the same. Whether at the D1 level or not, I plan on playing water polo (as a goalie or field player) and know I will always strive to become a team leader and an integral part of the team. I have been playing team sports since I was a child and definitely know the meaning of not only team work, but what hard work and commitments are. I started playing water polo and became a goalie in sixth grade and have been blessed by coaches who trained me, believed in me and made me a captain. I became the first and only captain of my high school varsity team as a junior and made 1st Team All-League last year (there were no sections due to Covid-19). I have also received numerous Coaches' Awards, including the Nick Johnson Award from USA Water Polo, not because I am the best player on the team, but because of my willingness to learn, work hard and help my team become better. Because of these reasons, I was offered the job as a coach for the California Republic 14U Boys team, helping them to become great players on and off the pool deck. I am smart (in and out of the pool) with a cumulative weighted GPA of 4.22, coachable, and have great character. I am also a very adaptable and flexible player and can make contributions to my team as a goalie and field player. Please check out my videos for more information.
