So far, my life has been about playing sports in one form or another. I started with soccer, baseball, and swimming at 6 years old until high school, then tried football my high school freshman year. It wasn't until my sophomore year, I finally decided to try water polo. A passion ignited I had never truly experienced towards a sport. My passion is also to get my degree in Sports Medicine and work as an Athletic Trainer for a sports team. I know I haven't been playing water polo as long as most, but my passion and determination has proven itself by making the varsity team, qualifying for JO's and the importance of being supportive for my team. Sports has taught me many important lessons, such as overcoming adversity, teamwork and the support of others. My ADHD can give me setbacks, but just like sports, you just have to practice that much harder and keep your eye on the ultimate goal, success. Here is one of my favorite quotes. "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome." - Booker T. Washington
I thank you for taking the time to review my profile and I hope to hear from you.
