Personal Statement

My name is Owen Patterson. I am 6'5" and am currently a junior attending Strathmore High School.

As a freshman, and sophomore I was a starter on the varsity team. I swam off every game and played flat and wing. I got the unexpected honor of team and league MVP in our 2019 season. It humbled me to receive this honor. I played club water polo with SOVA last summer and started playing spring ball when basketball ended. I also play on the varsity basketball team in winter and I am on the swim team and track team in spring. I have been on the Lindsay Skimmers Swim Club for 10 years. I hope to continue playing water polo after high school.

I have a tremendous work ethic. I intend to work hard to continuously become a better player so that I can contribute to a college team.
