I have been playing the game of waterpolo since 7th grade and have loved it ever since. I started playing waterpolo with a friend and took it on as a second sport to soccer, which I had played for 10 years. My passion for waterpolo quickly grew and it wasn’t long before I chose to focus only on playing water polo and swimming. I would like to play for as long as I am able to. I enjoy this sport because I love the water and the feeling of being better than your opponent. My goals are to become a fast swimmer, a better waterpolo player and earn the opportunity to play in college.
I think that I bring a lot to a team with my outgoing personality, my ability to communicate both in and out of the water and my strategic mind. I contribute to a positive team culture. I have earned a lot of respect from both my club coaches and high school coaches.
I possess good leadership skills and I have been promoted to Captain for both of my teams and received the Most Valuable Player award for my high school team. I have a very good knowledge of the game. My coaches see that and I have been offered an assistant coaching position for a 12u/14u club team at just 15 years old.
My dream would be to play waterpolo in college and possibly beyond.
