I began playing water polo in 9th grade, when I was 13 years old. I wasn't any good in the first high school season, starting as a wing (only 1 assist and 2 steals in the entire season) so I decided to commit myself to playing club. There I learned the basic fundamentals of how to play water polo, how to correctly position yourself, and found out I could be much more than a wing. I was personally taught by Daniel Cercols, an olympic player for Spain to become a 2M player, due to me having the body size and commitment to being one. I have played many games with my coach and have gradually improved over time, partaking in the ODPs when the opportunity was presented, and even playing for the junior olympics in Texas to see how far I could stretch my capabilities. After playing at SFWPC, I then left the club to follow my high school coach (who introduced me to SoFlo in the first place) to join Barcelona Lions Water Polo Club.
Currently playing at Barcelona Lions Club, by Daniel Cercols.
