Personal Statement
I am a hard worker who will do anything for the team. I started water polo as an incoming 7th grader with a clinic with Hawaiian Islands Water Polo. Since then, I haven’t been able to stop. I am constantly looking for games to up my level of play and get in more practice.
I have played on the Hawaii ODP team for 3 years, and have made the roster again this year. I was my team’s Nick Johnson award recipient in 2018, and was awarded team MVP for the Hawaiian Islands water polo 18u tournament.
Since then, I have travelled to Northern California, in order to play with the San José Express water polo club and work with goalie coach Jack Bowen.
Outside of water polo, I enjoy playing club and high school volleyball, video games, and cards with friends.
I plan to take not only my water polo to the next level, but also my academics. I want to go to a college that will present me with fun and challenging academics.
