I have been playing Water Polo since 8th grade when I moved from California to Texas. I fell in love with the sport even more as I started playing High School Water Polo. I attend every club practice with a good attitude, and the mindset to improve. Although I started playing Water Polo late, I have been very committed and rapidly improved my shots, water strength, speed, form, and strategy. Past experience with Basketball gives me a vision of the court and every time I am in the pool I take the initiative for the team by suggesting plays, encouraging less experienced players, and assisting. As a sophomore, I also joined the varsity swim team and became a faster swimmer. I enjoy working out at the gym, giving me strength and tenacity over many people taller than me in 18U. Besides sports, I take hard advanced classes that are available at my school, and I am interested in the Computer Science field. My interest in technology, math, and research experience through school, helps me improve my teammates and my own game sense through online analysis and game footage. What I look for in Collegiate level Water Polo is to work hard in and out of the pool, play competitively, improve, and be a part of the team.
