My name is Cooper Smith from Flower Mound TX. I am a 2024 Goalie for Marcus High School and Thunder Water Polo. I am 6’5 and have been playing water polo since I was 9 years old. I started on the varsity team my sophomore and junior years for Marcus High School and have been on the Thunder National travel team for 6 years. My Water Polo accolades include Academic All American team (2020-2022) and Southwest Zone ODP Regional Team (3 years). Academically, I am a member of the National Honor Society with a 3.75 GPA (4.5 weighted) and am in the top 20% of my graduating class. My hobbies include Boy Scouts and local volunteer work. My teammates and coach describe me as coachable, dependable and a positive teammate. My strengths are my work ethic and my 78" wingspan. My motto in life and water polo is practice makes perfect and I show up everyday and give 110%.
