Ryan Karadayi '22 Recruiting Profile

I became passionate about Water Polo after I was first introduced to Summer League at age 12 and the following year I joined North Houston Water Polo club where I quickly learned from my amazing mentor and Coach Edwin. I adapted and challenged myself to play multiple positions, gained experience from playing in multiple Texas Tournaments and  participated in JO 14u in 2018 and JO Championship bracket in 2019. With my skills and knowledge of water polo, I assisted my swim Coach to develop practice drills and defensive/offensive plays for both girls and boys high school water polo teams. I was named as Team Captain and Student Coach since my Freshman year. I also recruited friends and swim teammates to  join my high school team by starting skill clinics and extra practices in my backyard pool to help new players improve. I highly motivated my teammates to enjoy the sport that I love. This past season, I scored 30 goals, was my team’s top defender and selected to First Team All 6A District . I believe my outstanding academic achievements, water polo skills  and leadership capabilities will be an asset to any college team and help me achieve my ultimate dream of becoming a Medical Doctor.
