Claire Holt '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Claire Holt and I'm 14 years old.  My overall goal is to play collegiate softball and earn a college degree. Softball has been a major part of my life since the age of six years old. I live in Athens a small town in North Alabama and I attend Athens Bible School. I received a 4.0GPA for my Freshman year. I play Varsity softball and volleyball. I'm a right handed batter, shortstop, and pitcher.  For me as a teammate I'm not shy at all!! I'm a total goofball, I'm going to be the one that's making jokes, the loudest cheering, and putting a smile on everyone's face. If I see another teammate struggling, on or off the field, I'm always there to encourage and lift them up. When its time time get serious I put in a 110 percent effort in practice just like I do in a game. I have played travel ball since I was eight. I currently play travel for the Knights 14U in Huntsville, Alabama. I play anywhere they need me.  I primarily pitch, play second, and outfield.

Faith is a huge part of my life and I'm very thankful for my God given ability to play the game of softball. What I've learned from growing up in the church is to leave it in Gods hand and to stay humble with whatever you do.  I feel like that helps me with the game of softball and helps me to be a great teammate.
