Being a student-athlete has taught me several of my greatest life lessons. Balancing school and sports has taught me the importance of time management. Being able to compete at the highest level has given me a greater appreciation for hard work/team work and taught me mental toughness, dedication and commitment. Even further, injury has taught me the power of perseverance. It’s these things that I’ve learned on the court and the field that have better prepared me for my everyday life. My goal in life is to become more successful than I am today, and to grow as a better person/student-athlete each day.
