Sammi Parker '21 Recruiting Profile

As I reflect on the past nine years of playing softball, I am thankful for having the opportunity to play on great teams and make lasting friendships.  Softball has also given me the opportunity to travel and explore new places. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. At this time, my career aspirations are in either the healthcare industry or business. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I am a goal oriented, dedicated, competitive and selfless individual. Leading by example and striving to display sportsmanship at all times are also key traits that I display. I am willing to play in any position that would help my team have the best opportunity to be successful. I work hard in school to get good grades to obtain the best GPA possible and score high on the ACT in order to have opportunities at the best academic institutions.
