My name is Olivia Chichenoff, I'm a born and raised Alaskan. I'm currently in my Senior year at West Anchorage High School. I've taken honor, AP, and IB courses throughout my high school career. I'm also in a Russian Immersion learning program, which I have been in since kindergarten. During my Junior year I have received my Seal of Biliteracy for learning Russian. My weighted GPA is a 4.08 and my unweighted GPA is a 3.97, academics to me are just as or even more important than just being an athlete, I like to give a 100% in the classroom and on the field.
I have been playing softball since I was eight years old and my love for the game continues to grow. Softball has been a huge part of my life, it has given me many learning lessons not only as a player but as a person, and I have been able to use these experiences to progress on and off the field. To be given a chance to continue playing, to make more connections, and to grow more as a person, that is something I'm hoping to achieve. When I have free time I enjoy to paint and draw. I have always loved to paint, it is another outlet of mine to be creative and to let the right side of my brain shine. In college I would like to major in biology and receive a bachelor of science degree. I would like to use that degree to work in the medical field to help other people.
