Allison Norton '13 Recruiting Profile

I’m 5’6" third basemen from North Pole, Alaska; I’m currently attending North Pole High School and will graduate in 2013. I have started on the North Pole High School softball varsity team for three years and have played travel ball for five years. Our travel team, the Alaska North Stars, placed 2nd in this year's all-state tournament, but have placed first all three years before. I was the Varsity Team Captain in High school my junior year because I show leadership, always have a positive attitude, and I’m a hard worker. I have always wanted to play college ball because I love softball and want to play competitively. Ideally, I would like to go to a school, to either become an art teacher or history teacher. I am also looking for a college that has an outstanding teaching and softball program. I would like to be at a college where they have a good balance between sports and the classroom. It does not matter to me if the school is big or small; I would just like to get a good education and playing time. One of my athletic goals is to make an impact on the team and to play.
