Kennedy Lamb '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball at 4 years old. I truly have a deep love and passion for this sport. I didn’t start pitching until I was 8 years old in Rec ball. I had a coach the didn’t believe in me and and would never let me pitch. I lost the desire to practice pitching and focused on hitting and first base (I’m tall). It was when I was 11 that I decided to pick up pitching again. That same coach I had at 8 (not my coach anymore) told my parents it was to late for me,  I had lost to much time. He told them to have her focus on perfecting first base. Needless to say I found a team and coaches that have believed in my through my journey so far and I found my passion again. I am so exited for my first year of High School Ball. I am looking forward to seeing where this sport can bring me in life. I have learned so many life lessons and have made some  lifelong friends. I have learned what hard work is and the importance of maintaining good grades. I currently have a 4.0 gpa. I hope I can find that coach that is willing to take a chance on me so I can continue this journey far past high school.
