I am Mallorie Copeland, a senior at Mingus Union High school in Cottonwood Arizona. During my sophomore year of high school I was in a tragic car accident. I had to have 8 surgeries performed to my left leg and ankle. I had a total reconstruction done, and spent 30 days in ICU. I had to re learn how to walk, run, etc.. I was told I would never play softball again but throughout my whole recovery, that statement was the only thing that kept me determined, positive and in good spirits. Once I was able to start physical therapy, my parents and I found the best we could and when he asked me what my goal was I told him I want to be back on the field. I worked constantly toward getting back on the field. Throughout this entire experience I wouldn't change a thing. It has turned me into the person I am today. I am very determined and always working towards my goals, I have a golden and fun personality and I consider myself one of the funniest persons. It has taught me to appreciate everything in life and cherish the little things because you never know when it can be taken from you. I have learned to work hard, control my emotions and stay positive. I am blessed to be where I am at today and continue to inspire and achieve. I try to put smiles on anybody's face that comes across me and I love anything thrilling and adventurous. I work hard towards my goals and know how to stay on track. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
