I have been playing softball as far back as I can remember and I suppose like most athletes I can mention the discipline, the work, the effort, and passion for the game but that has all been heard before. I'm an incoming sophomore in high school, but made varsity freshman year. Pursuing a career and playing college ball is my dream. As a student athlete I take my academics very seriously, my current grade point average is a 3.8. I want to continue to prepare myself for a future that has softball in it, but more importantly I want to be able to walk away from the game knowing that my team accomplishments were far better than my own.
