Personal Statement

Hello! I’m Isabella Loyola, and I am a class of 2024 catcher and middle infielder. I've been playing softball since I was 5 years old, and in 7th grade I decided that I wanted to play at the collegiate level. Softball has taught me so many things about myself and lessons about life in general. It has taught me how to be a good teammate and friend, how to have a positive mindset through adversity, to take everything as a learning opportunity, and how to have confidence in myself and trust in my teammates.

I would make a great addition to any team because of my ability to bring energy to my team, bring my teammates up when they're down, and lead by example by always hustling and showing 110% effort, as well as being a vocal leader on the field.

My academic goals for the future include continuing to earn straight A's throughout high school and to graduate from college with all of the tools to make an impact on the world.

  • With the fear of COVID-19 prominent & schools shutdown, TPD’s Softball School was born. Our goal is to offer softball-families (Players, Parents & Coaches) access to a unique type of training done from the comfort of their own homes. Over the course of the next 6 weeks, students who register for school will have 24/7 access to our lesson plans. Each day, we will offer 3 classes that you can join in on LIVE, or watch later on demand. We have invited some of softball’s BEST trainers, coaches and players to teach concepts ranging from physical training to mental training; strategy to nutrition; goal setting to yoga; pitch calling to confidence building. The Packaged Deal Founder’s Jen Schroeder, Morgan Stuart, & Amanda Scarborough, along with their softball-royalty friends, have come together to present a 6-week school completely available to watch from home. School will be in session Monday-Friday, 3x a day, and will be available to watch on-demand Classes are interactive and each range from 30-45 minutes each.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
