Rylee Nelson '21 Recruiting Profile

I would like to pursue a degree in Biology,  with the goal of attending Graduate School to become a Physician Assistant.  I am currently dually enrolled in Community College as well. My cumulative gpa is 4.0. I'm looking forward to going away to college to experience some seasons that AZ doesn't offer :-) I am a quite leader on the field, I love supporting my teammates.

I am a versatile corners player and have played club ball for the past 7 years year round in Arizona (In 30 degrees, and 115 degrees, year round!). I have had the opportunity to be a Varsity starter each year and have seen some amazing 6a competition in Arizona! Some of my best memories have been traveling with my club team and I can't wait to make the same kind of teammate friendships in college! I am consistent and the field and at bat.

The Coronavirus ended my Junior Year of School ball after 8 games, like it ended so many college seasons, and has made me realize how much a part of my life softball and school are. I ended with a .476 batting average, 1.43 OPS and .810 Slugging.
