Personal Statement

I believe in the team and being a piece of a team.  I am part of many teams (softball, cheer, ROTC, model UN) and I understand that it takes many different parts working together to form a great team.  A team effort is described as 12 individuals plus a coaching staff who use their strengths to make up for another's weaknesses. A team is a group who finds their happy medium and then expand their horizons to go to the next level. I want to be a major cog in that team.

I am a leader that leads by example.  I am the one that is first on the field or weight room and last out.  I study hard and strive to be the best at everything I do.   I think I am a good fit for any team that wants to reach the best level of softball that they can reach. I want a coach who isn't afraid to give me the harsh facts of my playing technique and then works with me to correct any issues.   I am an athlete that is coachable and is always wanting to improve myself.

If I am chosen for your program, I know that I am going to be one of the most coachable and hardest working athletes whether it is on the field or in the classroom at the school.
