Personal Statement

I will be a 2015 graduate from Nogales High School, Nogales, AZ. I have been playing since I was five years old and I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. My goal is to get my Bachelors degree in sports injury management. My Dream is to play at the collegiate level and compete with the best of the best. I aspire to get a degree and help my community, to make my family and friends proud of what I have accomplished. I want to be someone known as the best of the best and use that to help children/teens in my community achieve their dreams. I am an honor roll student. I carry a 3.7 GPA and want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match.

  • About. Tucson C.H.A.M.P.S. Baseball and Softball Academy: Competing Hard And Maximizing Personal Success! Description Executive Summary Tucson, Arizona has always been a hotbed for home grown, young intellectual and athletic talent. These promising young people should be given the opportunity to be educated academically, in life skills, and primed physically to excel in this world. We believe the programs provided by Arizona International Baseball Consortium LLC (AIBC) will compel these young people to return to Tucson with their gifts. The games of Baseball and Softball will prove to be a powerful medium for the youth of Tucson engaging them in a process that is life changing for them. AIBC will provide that pathway through the games of Baseball and Softball. It is our intention that the skills acquired through AIBC, will guide them to a college education at the University of Arizona and beyond. Objectives Arizona International Baseball Consortium was founded to encourage a grassroots effort to keep in Tucson our amazing pool of academic and athletic talent. Our objectives are: 1. Provide our youth with an opportunity to play elite level baseball and softball. 2. Through an elite level of play, create an atmosphere of learning and self reliance. 3. Provide monthly, low cost, community outreach programs to include the larger community in these efforts. 4. Build year around excitement for our local baseball and softball community. 5. Showcase the City of Tucson through tournaments and camps that attract teams and talent from outside the state of Arizona. Mission At AIBC it is our mission to be the premier provider of baseball and softball instruction, life skills, and academic training for athletes across our community. Tantamount to our mission, AIBC will be an organizing force behind our local softball and baseball population to elevate the under served youth in our community. Our Mission will be realized by: • Providing elite level play for both baseball and softball participants • Offering instruction and training opportunities to citywide baseball and softball organizations through our programs • Providing inclusive community outreach through our "1st At Bats" program • Providing a permanent on site learning center to support life skills and academic curriculum • Creating a mentoring relationship with the University of Arizona baseball and softball programs by utilizing the physical adjacencies of the shared facilities We believe that by providing this level of professional and personal development as well as a healthy atmosphere of intense local athletic and academic competition, the best interests of our communities will be served.
