My name is Elliot Smith, and I am a member of the class of 2022. I am primarily an outfielder, and I have played first base and catcher. I am a lefty slapper that can hit for power when I need to. I started my career when I was 4, and have played many other sports alongside softball, such as swimming, volleyball, basketball, and cross country. Currently I play right, center, and left field for AZ Hotshots Davis/ Downes 18u Gold. I attend Xavier College Prep in Phoenix, AZ. During my high school career, I have been a starting member on the Varsity team every year. This year my batting average was .471. I was recognized with 6A All-Conference First Team and 6A All-Region First Team. I would say my speed and strength set me apart from most players because they underestimate how fast I am. I always try to use this to my advantage.
