My name is Kirsten Schmidt and I am 14 years old. I am a sophomore at Bradshaw Mountain High School and I made the varsity softball team my freshmen year. I have been playing softball since I was seven and that was the year that I started to learn how to pitch. I throw 57- 58 and I can locate my fastball, locate my changeup, locate my drop ball, locate my screw ball, I have a curveball and I am mastering my rise ball. Other than pitching, I play 1st base, 2nd base, shortstop and 3rd base. I also have experience in the outfield. As of right now, I have a GPA of 4.0. I want to play for a competitive program that will help me be a great softball player and a great person.
I love the game and love to teach it to younger players. I would love to be a coach someday. Besides playing I love to study the game. I consider myself as being a student of the game.
