I have played many different sports in my life, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Tennis, Equestrian (Gymkhana), basketball... the list goes on and others.
I knew right when I began softball, I had finally found my sport. I began the sport just in juniors for little league, and then after some time I realized that I could really see myself playing for a very long time. I then started to become more serious and competitive about the sport overall. As I'm always trying to challenge myself whether it be in training to become a better softball player, or with studying material for my classes during the summer break to get ahead of next years studies.
Softball has taught me so many life lessons. The best one is that passion makes it easier to work harder, to get better, and to have the drive to become the best you can be. I've always had a good work ethic in school, but softball has not only helped improve my time management and organization, but also helped me learn to build relationships with people that make me a better person on and off the field. With all of the many different teams and classrooms I've been part of, I've learned that mistakes can't be what makes or breaks you, but have to be the driving force to keep you going and get better at whatever it is you're trying to succeed and excel in. All in all, I enjoy being positive, encouraging, and feel I am a great addition to any team or group, whether being in a classroom or a dugout.
