Genon Thomas '24 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to get recruited for college softball and hopefully become a starter by sophomore/junior year. I aspire to become one of the best softball players and very competitive, but also a great team member. I would love to be part of a great team who all push each other to be the best they can be. I aspire to succeed in softball and school by getting a bachelors degree for criminal justice. I would make a great candidate for your team because I have a great attitude and put in all my effort. I believe attitude and effort are the most important aspects of softball and life because they help you become a great player and person, on and off the field. I am a great team member because I get along with girls easy and know how to have fun, but be serious when needed. I am very competitive, so I will work harder than everyone else to earn my spot because you don't just need talent, you need to work hard. I am very athletic and learn quickly, I will keep doing something until I get it right because I am a perfectionist. My academics are very good because I've always worked hard in school and have good grades throughout my high school years. I've been able to apply what I've learned from softball to life because I always put in effort for school, the same way I do for softball because they are both important. That has helped me become a great softball player and student.
