Hi my name is Kyla Force. I am a 2025 catcher who also loves 3rd but can play anywhere. I have played softball since I was 3 years old and have loved it ever since. I have played competitive club ball for the majority of those years. I have an incredible game sense and consider myself a very smart player in defense and offense. I can put the ball where it needs to be and am a wall behind the dish. I love to read and surprise runners and need a core infield that is ready at any time to catch a pick. Pitcher off? No problem. My favorite wild pitches to catch are those high and outside, but am also fast to move in front of a ball to block and knock them down. My goal is and always has been to continue to play softball throughout my college career. My academic goal is to finish my undergrad with something related to sports, what that is yet, I am undecided. After that, I plan to apply for dental school and my ultimate goal is to become a Pediatric Dentist. What makes me different from other athletes? For me personally, I am excellent at overcoming adversity and pulling through tough situations. In life and on the field. Over the last 2 years, I have overcome cancer as well as a broken fibula and battled back to good health and athleticism. Cancer is just one of many life obstacles that I have had to overcome. I also had to pull myself from being committed to a club team last year, unfortunately. The expense for my family was too much. BUT, I didn't, and do not let that stop me from growing. I attend camps, work hard on my own, hold clinics, do lessons, and pick up for teams. I was a starting Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior these past three school seasons and excelled and helped carry the team to the state tournaments. I am an exceptional student who takes academics very seriously and always strives to be the best I can be. I am also a small business owner and work 3 jobs while attending high school full time as a multi-sport athlete. With God leading me, I know without a doubt that if it is his plan for me to continue my softball career, he will find a way.
