Hello! My name is Audrey. So a little bit of background for what made me fall in love with softball. My dad and I have always loved sports and when I was 5 he introduced me to softball. It started out with a cheap bat and glove from Walmart. We went into the backyard and that's where I fell in love with the game and where my story all began. I chose the number 16 because that was my dad's last jersey number that he played in. I used to just play league ball but my dad knew I could be better so we moved to travel ball. Travel ball allowed me to grow into a better person and be a leader. My dad would always scream, "It's All Beans Baby"everytime one of us on the team did something good. But, in December of 2018, my dad was in a car accident and passed away. Every since then I have done everything for my dad. My love for the game grew because I knew I was playing for him and he had the best seat in the house. What makes me a good candidate for a team? What I think makes me a good candidate for my team would be that I am coachable. I will work hard and push myself to be the best player and person that I can be. I am different from other recruits because I always try to pick everyone else up when they are down. If I can put a smile on at least one person's face then I've done my job. My goal in the end is to be better than what I was the day before. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, It's All Beans Baby.
