Claire Hill '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi I am Claire Hill. I'm from Port Coquitlam British Columbia, Canada. I currently play for Fraser Valley Fusion 06A.  I am a middle infielder and pitcher graduating from Terry Fox High-school in 2024. 

For the 2022 season I played for the Coquitlam Classics 06B. I led my team in batting percentage, on base percentage and home-runs with 11 in the season. Half way through the season I was a call up for a u19 team for a tournament where I hit 3 home-runs, 2 of them being in the same game. My team placed in every tournament we entered but one. Giving us 1 gold 1 silver, 2 bronze medals,  and 4th in provincials all as the younger team. Once the season was over with my club team, I represented Zone 4 in  the BC summer games. We came second at the games after a tough game against Zone 3 in the finals. I played every inning of every game between the positions short stop and left field. I made the decision to move up to the A level, where I made a new team, Fraser Valley Fusion 06A. In October of 2022 I was apart of the Canada Futures showcase roster. We played double headers with five different colleges in Georgia. In those ten games I was one of three players to play every game. 

Every coach I have every played for has told me that I am a very hard working and dedicated player, and I inspire to continue that drive and passion for this sport for upcoming seasons and then in post-secondary.
