Maggie Paulovich '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing baseball since I was five years old.  Since I first stepped on the field, I have dreamt about playing in college. I recognize that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that very few athletes get.  I realize that my hopes of playing baseball in college as a girl are not very likely.  I feel like all of the skills that I have developed over the past 9 years playing on baseball teams are transferable to softball and will help me to continue playing catcher, first or outfield at a higher level.

I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players and one of the most dedicated recruits you’ll find.

In the classroom, I am dedicated to maintaining a high GPA. I also volunteer for a local 10 U All Girls Baseball Team, the East Bay Oaks and am currently a member of my High School JV Baseball Team, Captain of my Varsity High Basketball Team and was 2^nd Team All-League as a Freshman.  I am also a member of the Spanish Club and have played soccer, track, cross country and wrestled on my school teams in the past.

I would like to attend a college where I can earn a degree in something I am passionate about and be a leader, team player and successful on the field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.  I hope that someday my parent, teammates and college will see that I worked hard for my education, was a valuable asset to my team and am a well-rounded person.
