My goal is to attend a school that will contribute to my development not just as a softball player but as a person. I've been lucky to have an amazing family that has always been there to guide me on my journey and amazing mentors and coaches that have shaped me to the person I am today. I have a passion for working in the medical field and also enjoy doing digital art and animation. Two very different sides of the spectrum I know but these are fields that have meant so much to me personally that I feel it's important for me to work towards these goals.
I pride myself as a great teammate. I know the importance of being a positive force not just on the field but in the dugout. I love the game of softball for everything it has given me and for what it has taught me about myself. It has taught me that its okay to fail because failure only comes when you try. It's sometimes hard to do but understanding that this game is played one pitch at a time helps you stay grounded and allows you the be in the moment. If you can say that you gave everything you have in that one pitch, that one play, that one test, anything you are doing, then you should be proud that you tried.
