My 2014 PGF National Championship coach Marty Tyson has instilled in our team what "IT" takes to win. I must never give up, take pride in who I am, accept criticism, sometimes accept failure, but always make it positive and work hard to improve. I realize I have a lot of work to do to be ready for the next level of softball play, Pac 12 or SEC. I must always concentrate on becoming a better all-around softball player.
Yesterday on Sunday after a 3-hour softball practice, I returned home, ran 3 miles in the hills and hit balls in the backyard for 1 hour.
I am preparing for a busy week of high school with 3rd quarter finals in my classes and 7 softball games. I'm looking forward to this 2015 high school varsity season and to returning in May to my travel team in top shape and ready to win another team championship.
God has given me a 5 ft. 9 in., 175 lb. gift and I plan to make it work for me.
Thank you in advance for hopefully believing in me and coaching me.
