Personal Statement

I am a student athlete at Esperanza High School in Anaheim, CA.and will graduate in 2021. I am a 5'6" pitcher, and also play outfield and first base. As a Freshman at Esperanza, I was voted MVP of the JV team by the coaches. I currently play for Semper Fi Bulldogs Campos-18U, out of southern CA. I have been playing softball since I was 8 and started pitching my second year of 8U. My pitching Coach is Arizona Alumni and 3-time National Champion, Susie Parra.

I am looking to further my education after High School while playing College softball. I am hard working in the classroom, have a positive attitude, and always study and work hard. I am a leader, coachable, always give 100%, I am a team player, and I want what is best for my team. When I am on the field my competitive nature and work ethic drive me to always compete at the highest level. I have received numerous awards on and off the field for my character, work ethic and academics.

I hope to continue to play softball in College, while working towards a degree in Athletic Training, Criminal Justice, or Education. I am excited to find the best school for me athletically and academically, that will fit my personal, academic and athletic goals. I know I will be an asset to any school and softball program and look forward to many more years of great softball!
