My name is Angelina Correos and I have been playing softball for six years now. I play all outfield positions with minimum experience with infield positions such as second and shortstop. I am a consistent athlete on and off the field, I practice more than twice a week with my current 16 u team. In my personal time, I participate in strength and conditioning training to help me with endurance and athletic skills. I am the type of player that has a positive mindset, always willing to improve and self motivated. I continue to play softball because I enjoy the game, watching every play, the feel of contact with the ball, and the team bonding moments. As an athlete, something I would like to improve on is my precision of the game, being confident of my decisions for my actions, and being able to recognize the game situation.
Whichever college I choose will have to be involved with marine biology. I chose to pursue marine biology because the study of marine life and organisms fascinates my interest. I’m passionate about marine biology because I enjoy observing life below the sea and its unknown. Being submerged in the ocean and interacting with the aquatic creatures is what sparked my interest. I also wish to help marine mammals that are sick or severely injured and aid them back to their natural well being.
