Adrie Villa '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adrie Villa I am a 2022 utility player who plays outfield, and 3rd base. I go to Don Lugo High School in Chino, CA. My goal is to play the sport of softball for as long as I can while also pursuing academics. I always play and practice with the goal of getting better. I push myself to be better than yesterday. I always go to practice with a something to work on. My heart and knowledge of the game has set me apart from other athletes, as well as my ability to play several different positions. As a freshman, I won Utility Player of the Year, where I started at 7 of the 9 positions. I am the captain of my travel ball team, Teamsmith 16u-Ken. I am always striving to get better on the field and in the classroom where I hold a 3.97 GPA. I am in several clubs and the Leadership program in school. As well as the City of Chino’s Teen Advisory Committee  and Teen Opportunity Program. The reason I play, is for those who can't. My little brother and sister have a limiting skin disease, which makes them unable to do some things. I play every game for them, they are the driving force behind my hard work. I live to inspire others and help in anyway I can. I continue to work hard and  get better everyday, as a person and player,  in hopes that I get to play the sport I love at the next level.
