2021 Highlights Personal Statement
My name is Evann McDowell, I play for OC Batbusters Lastrapes (U18) and Culver City High School. I am a starting shortstop for travelball (#10) and starting 2B for CCHS (#10). As a freshman I started on varsity at second base and was second team all league on a league championship team that went to the CIF Semifinals. Unfortunately my sophomore year was cancelled. Junior year and travel AMAZING year, see stats and highlights in video feed. I am a dual sport athlete (tennis) and my partner and I were league doubles champions and went to the quarterfinals of the CIF regionals. I'm planning to study math and computer science. I am an accomplished violinist, am a freelance writer for 3 local newspapers, I'm bilingual in Japanese, and I love working with children with disabilities in sports.
