Melia Orozco '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been club swimming since I was 7 years old and now that I’m in high school, I swim for the high school varsity team and I still club swim. I also joined the JV High School water polo team.  My goal is to earn a college scholarship. This has been my dream since I can remember. My summers consist of   volunteering at a program for special needs kids. I also love to surf and paddle board in Maui with my family.  I have have been lucky enough to  go to the USC swim camp which I really enjoy. I cannot remember a time that I have not loved the water. I was first dunked under water at 3 months old.

I have always enjoyed school and Science and math are my favorite subjects. I strive to be a good role model to others and try to be the best that I can be, and always look forward to see the positive in everything and everyone.
