My profile already tells you about me as a softball player, now let me tell you about me as a person. I might seem shy, but I come from a large family, so I can be very social. My grandparents have a farm where I love catching lizards, chickens and ducks. I know how to lasso a goat and can write in Morse Code. After softball, I love to swim and play sand volleyball for fun with my friends. I ran track for my high school and loved the hurdles. I am a Christian and love volunteering at VBS camp every summer.
While it is important to be good at softball, I also think it is important to be a good person. I love my family and am very close with my grandparents. I work hard at trying to learn to be the best I can be in school and softball, and that makes my coaches and teachers love me. I believe my teammates would tell you that I am also a great teammate. I am happy for others' successes and am easy to get along with.
I am interested in criminology, project management, psychology, homeland security, and other related topics. Forensic psychology fascinates me and I also love science and math. In college, I hope to find a major that applies to some of these interests.
In summary, I am an asset to any team, not because I think I am a phenom at softball, but because I am a good person who happens to also have a strong passion for the game. I maintain a high GPA and work hard at school. I think any coach would be grateful to have me because I am coachable and respectful. I think any team would be happy to have me because I am a great teammate. Overall, I hope to find a coach who wants this type of student/athlete/person on their roster.
