At the age of 6 I took up softball as a fun sport to keep me active. Over the years softball has become one of my main interests in life and I enjoy the chance to play and compete. My main goal everyday is to work hard and get better to reach my full potential. I knew I wanted to be a catcher since joining softball and I have seen the joy in all the different positions and opportunities they give you. I am a junior in high school. My freshman year I was a left field starter and secondary catcher on Fillmore High School Varsity and my sophomore year I was a starting catcher and alternate out fielder. This year I am going to be full time catcher. I have been working on infield to become a utility player that can be helpful from anywhere on the field. I am also a very involved student in my academics and extra curriculars. I aspire to go to a high academic college and find a field that I will enjoy that keeps me around sports.
