Softball has been a part of my life since I was 6 years old. The competitiveness, teamwork, and camaraderie continues to draw me towards the game. As I prepare for college, I look forward to the academic and athletic challenges ahead. Earning a college education and playing softball at the collegiate level is a goal I am determined to achieve. I bring a strong work ethic, a competitive attitude, and a passion to always succeed. I thrive on being part of a team and using my positive attitude to not only motivate myself, but my fellow teammates as well.
As a softball player, I believe in all-out effort. I am continuously working on improving my skills in the infield and outfield. I work on keeping the ball in front of me and I am not afraid to dig the ball out of the dirt or dive for a ball. I have a strong bat and focus on hitting for power. I am constantly working on hitting line drives into the gap and hitting balls over the fence.
As a student, I diligently maintain high grades. I have developed good time management skills that allow me to get good grades and play softball. I am an honor roll student and I have earned other scholastic awards.
I have high expectations for myself in both softball and school. I use my positive attitude and work skills to meet those expectations and I feel that I could be a great addition to your team.
