I have designed my academic and athletic goals with the intent of attending a minimum of 4 years of college regardless of whether or not I am able to obtain an athletic scholarship. Although, I leave very little room in my vision for the future to allow myself to believe that I won't succeed in attaining my goal of playing softball in college. I work hard to maintain a 4.0 GPA, and train hard multiple days a week to continuously improve my skills on the softball field.
Something that I believe sets me apart from most other recruits is my coachability. I have a passion for learning quickly and being able to implement what I have been taught immediately into my mechanics/fundamentals. I believe this passion for learning quickly translates just as well into my academic success, which will most certainly help me perform well as a student athlete.
