Devon Medina '21 Recruiting Profile

College has been something I've been working towards my entire life through athletics and academics. Being rooted in baseball and soccer, I feel I have developed incredible experience when it comes to competing, diversity, relationships, and especially in defying the odds. Being a girl and growing up through baseball has shaped my entire identity today and has taught me what it truly means to compete. I have taken these lessons into the classroom, and continue to not only challenge those around me but to compete with myself to become the best version of myself that I can be. All of these experiences lead me to exactly where I want to be, on the softball diamond. Though the decision was heartbreaking, I knew better than to resist all of the opportunity softball could bring any longer. I wouldn't change my decision for the World and I am so excited to pursue my dream of becoming a college athlete in the near future!
